I'm astonished at how inexpensive good Amazon devices have become, particularly for this device. I like that it has only standard from Google apps installed (email, map, contacts, etc) so no extra bloatware that I couldn't remove. I was able to then install other apps I normally use from the Google app store without hassle. Arrived almost fully charged but have not tested battery life yet, but all apps I've installed and used work fine so far. The built in stand is useful and the supplied screen protector was unexpected and seems tough and more than adequate. Only negative I've found so far is that the power cord is too short so I've ordered a 6' one, and there was no adapter included, but still a great product for the price as far as I'm concerned.

A disappointment

I have always been a kindle fire user. I decided to step outside of the box and try out the android . To be honest, the price is why I chose this one . IMO this is the perfect scenario of getting what you pay for . When it arrived, my first thoughts were that it just felt “cheap”. So ok, the important part was the functionality . I got it turned on and began the process of getting it set up . Again, it just felt so generic . At this point I was pushing myself to have an open mind . I tried to keep that mind open for a week, and it just wasn’t working . The sound is horrible . I struggled to hear it while watching movies . ( no problem with my hearing in general ). It definitely ran a lot slower than I thought it would . It just wasn’t a good fit for me . I have started the return process and will just stick to kindle fires .

My only complaint does not seem very long for money. Well worth the value I’m actually thinking about getting one for myself because I can use an android tablet. I have an iPad but it has certain options and features that my $700 iPad does not have So it’s well worth the money

Appears easy to use. Will be traveling so I will get to really test it and submit a real review.
Now that I have had this for a bit, I have taken the opportunity to dig into the real useability of the product. This comes with a lot of additional items which can cause you to be distracted for a bit. The wireless keyboard is lightweight, connects easily and requires firm but gentle tapping of the keys. The power does last a long time, however it took a while to be recognised by the tablet. After the second use the tablet easily recognized the keyboard device.

Battery life on the tablet is good but there seems to be a problem with the device itself. There are periods (days) when I am constantly getting an error message and the device needs to be restarted. It frequently gives the error message that the "System UI is not responding". Clicking wait causes it to go it login phase. Another issue that I have found is that the tablet will sometimes freeze or perhaps the better description is that you will get a screen with half the words on it. Following the directions provided in the manual does not work and such moments requires a hard depress of the power button to restart the device. Sometimes I feel like I got a trial version of a device or perhaps I am spoilt by having my last tablet been a Samsung Galaxy tablet. If the software problems did not exist I think that this tablet would be a great device for a good price. Perhaps they can reduce all the extras given and improve on the tablet itself.

I was very surprised by the quality of this tablet since it was not very expensive. My 7 year old son uses it to play Google Play store mobile games on and stream YouTube. Storage is great, screen size is perfect.
Was not expecting the tablet to come with a case. That was an awesome surprise.
The only not so great thing about this tablet is the battery life. It does not last at all but I would definitely purchase again.
